Maternity Leave

Edit Post
Today should have been my last day of maternity leave. Tonight I should be fussing around getting a changing bag ready and stressing out about leaving Anabelle for the first time tomorrow. Tomorrow I should be ringing my mother at least three times during the day to check on how my baby is and counting down the minutes until I can go pick her up and bring her home.
Instead I've been back at work for six months, our daughter has been dead for over ten months, there is no-one to ring tomorrow and Anabelle will never come home.

Your posts are so poignant. If I ever get to have maternity leave and a subsequent return to work I will re-read these posts and make sure I don't take a single thing for granted. Lots of love Caz. xxxxxx
I've been following you for a couple of weeks now and just realised that Anabelle was born the day before my Griffin.
She's beautiful.
